- Tempra Forte 500mg (Paracetamol) is a medication that acts as an analgesic that helps in increasing the pain threshold and antipyretic for temperature regulation in the brain. It is a non-prescription tablet that serves as an aid for minor aches, pain, reduction of fever, and headaches. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol.
- Tempra Forte 500mg dosage and administration: Adults: Take 1 to 2 tablets, 3 to 4 times a day It can be taken with or without food or as directed by the doctor. Strictly, do not use it with other products containing paracetamol. If redness and swelling are present, fever that lasts more than 3 days, and pain gets worse for more than 5 days, seek medical advice.
- Paracetamol Tempra Forte 500mg tablet has contraindications to patients with known allergies to paracetamol and any ingredient of the product. It is not for long-term use for patients with heart, kidney, liver, and lung disease. It is not also intended for patients with anemia. Precautions are advised for people with impaired liver or kidney function. Do not exceed the recommended dosage as it may cause liver damage due to prolonged use. Seek medical advice if the patient has kidney or liver problems or taking blood-thinning medications or anticoagulants.
