Zithromax FC
- Zithromax FC Tab 250 mg tablet 6’s (Azithromycin) is used to treat infections caused by susceptible organisms in the lower respiratory tract, such as pneumonia and bronchitis, along with skin infection and soft tissues, acute otitis media, and infections of the upper respiratory tract, including sinus infections and pharyngitis/tonsillitis.
- Dosage and administration of Zithromax Azithromycin: Adults: A single oral dose of 1000 mg. As per local current clinical guidelines, the recommended dose for susceptible Neisseria gonorrhoeae is 1000 mg or 2000 mg zithromax in conjunction with 250 mg or 500 mg ceftriaxone. 30 mg per kg should be administered as a daily dosage of 10 mg/kg for 3 days, or extended out over five days, with a small dose of 10 mg/kg on Day 1 and 5 mg/kg on Days 2–5.
