Yasmin
- Yasmin (Drospirenone, ethinylestradiol) is a prescription medicine that is used to treat symptoms of moderate acne and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). It is also used as a contraceptive pill and used to prevent pregnancy. Each tablet contains 3 mg of Drospirenone and 30 mcg of Ethinyl Estradiol.
- Dosage and administration of Yasmin (Drospirenone/Ethinyl Estradiol) 3mg/30mcg Tablet: Take one tablet at the same time every day. When pills are missed or taken incorrectly, the failure rate may increase May be taken with or without food Swallow whole, do not chew or crush. To achieve maximum contraceptive effectiveness, Yasmin Ethinyl Estradiol must be taken as directed, in the order directed on the blister pack. Single missed pills should be taken as soon as remembered. Yasmin (Drospirenone/Ethinyl Estradiol) 3 mg/30mcg is contraindicated in patients with renal impairment and hepatic impairment.
