- Solmux 500 mg (Carbocisteine) is a medicine used in aid of cough that is characterized by excessive or sticky phlegm and helps treat respiratory tract disorders such as acute bronchitis.
- Dosage and administration of Solmux Carbocisteine 500 mg: Solmux 500 mg dosage for adults and children over 12 years old: 1 cap every 8 hours or as recommended by doctor. Should be taken with food Avoid double dosage Solmux 500 mg is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity and with active stomach and intestinal ulcer.
- Warning/Precautions: Solmux Carbocisteine 500 mg should be given with care in patients with history of intestinal and stomal ulcer, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Follow the recommended Solmux 500 mg dosage for adults and do not take more than the recommended dose. Stop taking the medicine if rashes appear or if symptoms worsen or do not improve. For pregnant and lactating mothers, consult a doctor first before using this product.
