- Ritemed Ascorbic Acid 500 mg is used in the treatment and prevention of Vitamin C deficiency. Ritemed Vitamin C is important in the defense against infection by enhancing immune function. Ritemed Vitamin C plays an important role in the body's response to stress.
- Dosage and administration for Ritemed Ascorbic Acid 500 mg: For adults, take 1 tablet of Ritemed Sodium Ascorbate a day or as prescribed by the physician. For children 12 years old and above, take 1 tablet of Ritemed Sodium Ascorbate or as prescribed by the physician. Tablet may be taken with or without food.
- Warning and precaution: Do not give to children below 12 years old. Do not give to pregnant and lactating women without a recommendation from a doctor. Do not give to patients with hyperoxaluria. Do not take more than the recommended dosage as Ritemed Sodium Ascorbate contains tartrazine which causes allergic reactions including bronchial asthma.
