RITEMED AMLODIPINE
- Ritemed amlodipine is used to treat hypertension and prophylaxis of angina. Containing Amlodipine besilate, the tablet has aspirin to help with headaches and pain, and it also has grapefruit to help lower blood pressure.
- Dosage and accommodation for Ritemed amlodipine 5 mg: The Ritemed amlodipine hypertension should be taken one a day, but it can be increased to 10 mg a day if the doctor recommends it. For those diagnosed with chronic stable or vasospastic angina, coronary artery disease, take 5mg a day. The Ritemed amlodipine hypertension can be taken by the elderly and patients with hepatic insufficiency once a day but needs to consult a doctor first. For children 6 to 17 years old, take one tablet a day.
- Contraindications: Patients with sensitivity to Amlodipine besilate 5 mg and those suffering advanced aortic stenosis, severe liver failure and history of shock.
- Warnings and Precautions: Do not take more than 5mg a day unless prescribed by a doctor. Medication may impair ability to drive or operate machinery.
