- Fluimucil Effervescent tablet 600 mg (acetylcysteine) is used for the treatment of respiratory affections characterized by thick and viscous hypersecretions due to acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis and its exacerbation, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis and bronchiectasis.
- Dosage and administration of Fluimucil Effervescent: Adults: 1 sachet of Acetylcysteine 200 mg or 2 sachets of Acetylcysteine 100 mg 2-3 times a day Children: 1 sachet of Acetylcysteine 100 mg, for 2-4 times a day according to age. Dissolve the tablet or granules in a glass containing a small quantity of water. Mix with a spoon if necessary.
- Fluimucil Effervescent tablet 600 mg has contraindications to: Patients with Phenylketonuria Patients with Hypersensitivity Children below 2 years of age Fluimucil 600 mg tablet contains aspartame and has precautions for patients with: Histamine Metabolism Bronchial Asthma Gastric Mucosa Peptic Ulceration Children below 2 years of age Fluimucil Effervescent has no known influence or side effects on the ability to drive and use machinery.
