- Cixtor-Z Vitamin C with Zinc (Ascorbic acid, zinc) is a chewable tablet used as treatment and prevention of vitamin C and Zinc deficiency. Its main ingredients are ascorbic acid and zinc. This supplement helps the body's natural defense against the damaging free radicals and boost the immune function. Vitamin C and Zinc in Cixtor-Z Vitamin C with Zinc functions as cofactors of enzymes which are involved in collagen formation and synthesis. The collagen provides elasticity and strength to the skin which helps in faster wound healing.
- Each chewable tablet contains ascorbic Acid (as Sodium ascorbate equivalent to 562.43 mg) 500 mg, Zinc (as Zinc gluconate equivalent to 70 mg) 10 mg.
- Dosage and administration of Cixtor-Z Vitamin C with Zinc 500 mg: Adult Dose: 1 chewable tablet daily or as prescribed by a doctor. Cixtor-Z Vitamin C with Zinc 500 mg is contraindicated with Hypersensitivity.
- Warning and special precautions should be observed for patients on a sodium restricted diet. Do not take more than the recommended dose and consult a doctor if any adverse effects occur.
