Mefenamic acid Ritemed 10 Tablets
- Mefenamic acid Ritemed (Mefenamic acid) is a medication used for symptomatic relief of mild to moderately severe pain such as toothache, headache, pain after minor surgery, myalgia, dysmenorrhea, tooth extraction, and any pain associated with cancer. Mefenamic Ritemed is also used as treatment of soft tissue rheumatism, sprain and tendonitis and low back pain.
- Dosage and administration of Ritemed mefenamic acid: Adults and Adolescents older than 14 years old: 1 tablet every 8 hours as needed or as directed by a physician Should be taken with food. Take it immediately after meals. If used for relief of dysmenorrhea and premenstrual syndrome: Take 1 tab every 8 hours while symptoms persist, or as directed by a doctor. Do not take mefenamic Ritemed continuously for more than 10 days unless directed by a doctor. Mefenamic acid Ritemed 250 mg has contraindication to patients with active gastric or peptic ulceration, pre-existing renal disease.
