RiteMed Gliclazide 80mg 1 Tablet
- RiteMed Gliclazide 80 mg is a treatment for type 2 diabetes inadequately controlled by diet & exercise alone. RiteMed Gliclazide 80 mg is made for non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus.
- Dosage and accommodation for Gliclazide 80 mg: For adults, the total daily dose of Gliclazide 80 mg may vary from 40 mg to 320 mg. The dose is adjusted according to the patient's response, commencing with 40 mg to 80 mg daily and increasing until adequate control is achieved. For obese patients or those who are not showing adequate response to the treatment alone, additional therapy is required. For the elderly, the treatment is similar to adults. Clinical experience shows that the medication is effective and well-tolerated. However, the treatment needs to be administered by a doctor.
- Warnings and Precautions: Do not give the medication to children. Do not give to patients with hepatic & renal impairment. Do not give to pregnant women and lactating women.
