- Bisolvon Adult Syrup 8mg (Bromhexine HCI) is a mucolytic used in Secretolytic therapy in acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport. It dissolves phlegm and helps clear the lungs. The mucolytics work by thinning the phlegm so that it can be coughed up more easily.
- Dosage and administration of Bisolvon syrup for adults: Adult and pedia above 12 years old: 5 mL thrice a day Should be taken with food Shake the bottle well before use. Bisolvon for adults has contraindication to hypersensitivity to bromhexine or any of the other components of the medicine.
- Special precautions in using Bisolvon Adult Syrup 8mg to patients with: Hypersensitivity Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Pregnancy & lactation. Bisolvon Galactosemia. rare hereditary condition of fructose intolerance. Discontinue use if severe skin lesions such as toxic epidermal necrolysis occurs. Do not take Bisolvon Adult Syrup 8mg if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
