- Strepsils Extra Strong 8 Lozenges (Amylmetacresol, Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol) is a soothing and medicated lozenge that has active medical ingredients to relieve Strepsils Sore Throat and pain deep down. It has been trusted by consumers and pharmacists as it provides the consumers with the most appropriate treatment option for sore throats, as it provides a fast-acting relief that helps prevent sore throat pain from getting worse. It contains two antiseptic ingredients to soothe the throat and kill germs and bacteria to prevent them from multiplying.
- Dosage and administration of Strepsils Extra Strong Lozenges: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours, or as directed by the physician Maximum of 12 lozenges in 24 hours It may be taken with or without food Each Strepsils Extra Strong contains dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg and amylmetacresol 600 mcg.
- There are no known contraindications and precautions with Strepsils Extra Strong Lozenges however, it shall not be administered to children below the age of 6 years.
