Trajenta 5 mg 1 Tablet
- Trajenta 5 mg 1 Tablet (Linagpitin) is used as monotherapy in adult patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus to help improve glycemic control in conjunction with diet and exercise or as additional metformin, sulfonylureas, thiazolidinediones, insulin (w/ or w/o metformin &/or pioglitazone &/or sulfonylureas) or metformin + sulfonylureas or metformin + SGLT2 inhibitors.
- Dosage and administration of Trajenta: Adults: The recommended dose is 5 mg once a day. Can be taken with or without food Not recommended to be used for children below 18 years of age If a dose is missed, the patient should take it as soon as remembered. A double dose should not be taken on the same day.
- Trajenta Linagliptin has contraindications to: Hypersensitivity Trajenta has precautions for people with: Patients with type 1 diabetes Acute pancreatitis and bullous pemphigoid are suspected. Use of Linagliptin should be discontinued. Hypoglycemia Pregnancy Lactation Children 18 years below
