Robitussin (Guaifenesin) 200mg 10 Capsules
- Robitussin (Guaifenesin) 200mg is a softgel Capsule that provides symptomatic relief from congested chests which may be associated with the common cold. With Guaifenesin 200 mg in every bottle, it helps increase the flow of natural secretions along with lower respiratory tract. Robitussin (Guaifenesin) 200 mg also helps reduce sticky phlegm.
- Dosage and accommodation for Robitussin dry cough: For adults and children who are 12 years and older, take 1 to 2 Capsules every 4 hours. For children who are 6 to 12 years old, take 1 Capsule every 4 hours. The maximum dosage is 600 mg daily.
- Contraindications: Robitussin has Guaifenesin 200 mg and is contraindicated in patients who are allergic or hypersensitive to its active ingredient like Guaifenesin or other components of the Capsule. Do not use in children under 2 years of age.
- Warnings and Precautions for Robitussin dry cough: Do not use if you are suffering from chronic cough caused by smoking or if you have a chronic lung disease like asthma or emphysema. Discontinue use if your cough lasts more than 10 days, if it comes back or if it occurs with rash, fever, or constant headaches.
