Mucotuss Forte Capsule
- Mucotuss Forte Capsule (Paracetamol + Guaifenesin + Phenylpropanolamine Hydrochloride + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Chlorphenamine Maleate) is a suppressant used to control and relieve coughs associated with common colds, allergy, inhalation of irritating substances, and psychogenic cough. Each forte Capsule contains Guaifenesin 50 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, Phenylpropanolamine Hydrochloride 12.5 mg, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10 mg, and Chlorphenamine Maleate 1 mg.
- Dosage and administration of Mucotuss Forte: Forte cap: One Capsule every four hours or as prescribed by a doctor To be taken orally, 3-4 times a day, or as prescribed by a doctor Do not double dose. For the missed dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the dose and resume your regular dosing May be taken with or without food
- Mucotuss Forte content of Dextromethorphan hydrobromide has a contraindication to patients with asthma which causes the release of histamine. Mucotuss Forte Capsule benefits include: Control and relief of cough associated with flu, common colds, and other respiratory problems. Relief for particularly dry, unproductive, and paroxysmal cough Special precautions are advised for people with liver diseases, HTN, cardiac disorders, hyperthyroidism, and diabetes. It may impair the ability to operate machinery or drive due to antihistamine content.
