Mucosolvan (Ambroxol HCl) 10 Tablets
- Mucosolvan (Ambroxol HCl) 30mg is used in conditions where there are a lot of thick secretions or mucus in the air passages. Mucosolvan (Ambroxol HCl) 30mg contains ambroxol hydrochloride, which helps to clear the chest by thinning the mucus in the air passage.
- Dosage and administration for Mucosolvan Ambroxol: For adults, take 1 tablet of Mucosolvan dry cough 3 times daily. For better effect, the patient may administer 2 tablets 2 times daily. The Mucosolvan dry cough tablets should be taken with liquid. Mucosolvan can be taken with or without food. For children under 12 years, the following dosage regimen is recommended depending on the severity of the disease. For children 6 to 12 years of age take 5 mL 2-3 times daily, for children 2 to 5 years of age take 2.5 mL 3 times daily.
- Warnings and precautions for Mucosolvan Ambroxol: In very few cases, severe skin disorders such as Stevens-Johnson's syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis have been reported after administration of mucolytic substances, which in most cases could be explained by the patient's underlying disease and/or the concomitant medication. .
