Glyxambi (Empagliflozin/Linagliptin) 1 Tablet
- Glyxambi (Empagliflozin/Linagliptin) 10 mg/5 mg is a prescription medication containing two medicines, 10 mg of Empagliflozin and 5 mg of Linagliptin. Glyxambi (Empagliflozin/Linagliptin) 10 mg/5 mg can be used along with diet and exercise to lower blood sugar levels in adult with type 2 diabetes and adults with type 2 diabetes with cardiovascular disease. Glyxambi uses include increasing the removal of sugar by your kidneys. Glyxambi uses also includes increasing levels of natural substances called incretins. Incretins help to control blood sugar by increasing insulin release, especially after a meal. They also decrease the amount of sugar your liver makes.
- Dosage and administration for Glyxambi 10 mg: Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily in the morning. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
- Warnings and precautions for Glyxambi 10 mg: Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day. Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve or if it worsens (such as if your blood sugar is too high or too low).
